Funded via the Federal Government’s Building Better Regional Cities (BBRC) program, the Horizon Housing Group partnered with Tweed Shire Council and Stockland to provide 52 affordable housing lots for sale and rent in the Hundred Hills Estate, Murwillumbah. HHR continues to manage the affordable housing properties.

It is our mission to deliver affordable housing solutions, and we are seeking to close the gap between the rental market and home ownership. We know that the price of home ownership is out of reach for many people. The project delivered 21 affordable dwellings and 31 shared equity opportunities.

Undertaking these works not only helped to alleviate housing stress in the Tweed region, but enabled further stages of the development to be brought forward including parks, community recreation areas and trunk infrastructure.
