Horizon Housing Realty operates across multiple states in Australia, including Qld, NSW, Vic, SA, and WA. Specialising in affordable housing programs, HHR offers a range of real estate services. With a growing portfolio of over 1,100 dwellings and more in the pipeline, HHR is a well-established housing provider who reinvests all profits into affordable housing initiatives, aligning with our parent company, Community Housing Limited, to support better housing outcomes.

Timeline:

• Gold Coast Housing Company (GCHC) was established in 2007
• GCHC became Horizon Housing Company (HHC) in 2010
• Horizon Housing Solutions (HHS) began operations in 2011 – the company was created to focus on delivering Affordable Housing opportunities while HHC delivered social and community housing
• Horizon Housing Realty (HHR) was established in 2018, as a licensed real estate agent providing rental services to our investors – both HHS and HHR supported the overall vision of HHC
• In 2018 Horizon Housing announced the integration with Community Housing Limited (CHL), forming Australia’s largest community housing provider
• From July 2020, HHC changed its name to Community Housing (QLD) Limited (CHQL)
• HHR has since evolved to become the primary market rent and affordable housing arm of CHL
